As I've heard enough to think maybe there is something to it. This is Part One of the dark fan theories based on films and books. I will have to break the posts into parts as there is too many. These theories are not mine. I'm not even in agreement with them as they spoil the nature of the films. However, it's fun to bring up the most creepiest theories out there.
Cars is a 2006 Pixar animated film. Some of the theories about this particular film is that the cars themselves are not actually machines but an evolved species of bugs. And the inside of those cars are full of brains and eyeballs! The most disturbing theory of all is that the cars developed intelligence and wiped out all of humanity. The film Cars appears far from innocent now with that theory.
Princess Mononoke is a 2001 fantasy anime by Studio Ghibli. Fans theorised that this film was about leprosy and it turned out they were right. The girl named San is wearing the same white wolf fur as her adopted mother and two brothers. The wolf mother and the two wolf brothers are gods and they're larger than the average wolf. San also wears a necklace that looks like canine teeth. Did the pelt and fangs belong to a dead wolf god?
Aladdin the 1992 Disney animation is said to be based in the far future in a post apocalyptic world. The film was turned into a platform game by Virgin in 1993, and it shows a lot of traffic signs half buried in the sand. There are tons of scattered bones everywhere, and also UXO in the scenery. Fans theorised that the year when Aladdin freed the genie from the lamp is 11,970 CE. Fans said Rajah the tiger is a mutant animal caused by nuclear fallout.
Okay. Some fan theories are crackpot although interesting at the same time. Other fan theories turn out to be right all along. I shall post more.
