She-Ra: Princess of Power

Well it's been a month that I last posted. That's because I was watching all of the episodes of the original She-Ra: Princess of Power series. It's got to be one of the most awesome TV animations ever. It was made by Filmation in partnership with toy company Mattel. It was first released in 1985 and has two seasons with about 93 episodes. Creators of She-Ra include Larry DiTillio and J. Michael Straczynski. The style is colourful and set on planet Etheria, which has been partially taken over by the Horde. A girl named Adora was raised at the Fright Zone to become a Horde soldier, and she's the long lost sister of He-Man. When she's given the sword of protection, all of her origins are shown, and she discovers for herself how evil the Horde really is. She becomes a saviour of the downtrodden, joins the Rebellion and makes new friends. Her brother is He-Man, Prince Adam, who had his own popular TV series for a long time before She-Ra. I plan to make a comparison with the original She-Ra and the reboot in the near future.

Howls ^^
